The poor pooch was captured leaning up against a door in the vets after allegedly ingesting cannabis

A dog owner captured the moment her pet pooched got 'stoned' after apparently eating a joint while out on a walk.

The poor pooch was barely unable to stand on all fours in the vet's waiting room after reportedly ingesting cannabis .

In the clip, posted by the dog's owner Chloe O'Neill , from Glasgow, the canine leans his nose up against a door and appears to be completely unaware of his surroundings.

At one point in the footage, the dog flinches at nothing in particular, prompting Chloe to grab hold of his collar to steady him.

The pooch's back legs are barely able to support his weight as he sinks to the floor with his eyes half closed.

Chloe confirmed that her dog had accidentally eaten the cannabis after he had found it while the pair were out on a walk together.

50 pound dog eating a whole joint? That would be like me eating 4 of them.

While staying in DC in the ‘80s, our van was stolen by some white trash. It was shortly recovered, we went on our way, and our poodle started freaking out. Running in circles, acting like a nut. We never knew, but I assumed she got into some trace of their drugs.

The doggy just put Pink Floyd’s classic stoner album, ‘Dark Side of the Moon’, on the old turntable and is really getting zoned out listening to it!!!

Dogs don’t come any dumber than Weimeraners.

Where is this place where joints are lying around in the grass anyways?

We took one of our cats to the vet a few months ago because the cat was walking funny and seemed to be having nervous system impairment. We just woke up one morning and he was like that.

The first question the vet asked was if the cat could have gotten into any marijuana. It was legalized in OR last year so it’s all over the place. We said not a chance, we don’t have any and our property is fenced and cat proof.

Vet said the number of animals who get into mj is huge and many get very poisoned. It’s extremely common and definitely not good for them.

“Dogs don’t come any dumber than Weimeraners.”

Not true. i had two of these Weimaraner’s during my growing up years. Chose the female runts of the litters.

Brilliant and as most hounds are and dedicated to their master. Short haired, clean and at 60 lbs, no little annoying ankle biter!

What may pass for ‘dumb’ in Weimers is their nearsightedness (light colored eyes). They were bred in Germany long ago from the German Shorthaired Pointer to hunt down escaped convicts due to their keen sense of smell and to NOT see what they are tracking.

They do tend to ‘bump’ into things!

I live in Colorado and IMHO legalization hasn’t improved the place that much but the state is making $$ hand over fist.

It doesn’t really bother me that much BUT they do need to regulate editables. I don’t know if any FREEPERS remember this but Maureen Dowd came out here right after it was legal and ate some and couldn’t get out of her hotel bed for a couple of days.

Also kids are getting hurt. A guy with a spotless record ate some and shot and killed his wife here in the springs late last year.

If the dog really did eat the MJ while on a walk it was probably a candy or a cookie instead of a joint.

I thought that it had been proven that MJ is ineffective unless it has been burned or “cooked” to release the chemical that gets you high. Raw MJ should not have any effect when eaten by an animal or a human.
