This will eventually be approved.

Exactly. Happens every time. The first attempt is just to soften people up...get them used to the idea being proposed even if the people find it outrageous and unacceptable. Eventually most of them will wear down and the ones who don't will get used to being called intolerant haters and bigots and will pull their kids out of school. While the country continues it's slide into moral catastrophe.

Remember the book 'Heather Has Two Mommies"? People were outraged at that. It got pulled from library shelves...for about 6 months.

You must be kidding - which States???

Have there been any statistics on the percentage of boys who want to be girls VS girls who want to be boys???

I still believe this is some sort of hormonal imbalance due to the mothers taking contraceptive medication. Plus all the medication children are given during infancy.

Will do some research on the numbers.

https://www.quora.com/Why-are-male-to-female-transsexuals-about-three-times-more-common-than-female-to-male-transsexuals
The DSM-IV (1994) quotes a prevalence of roughly 1 in 30,000 assigned males and 1 in 100,000 assigned females seek sex reassignment surgery in the USA. The most frequently quoted estimate of prevalence is from the Amsterdam Gender Dysphoria Clinic[32] The data, spanning more than four decades in which the clinic has treated roughly 95% of Dutch transsexuals, gives figures of 1:10,000 assigned males and 1:30,000 assigned females. Though no direct studies on the prevalence of GID have been done, a variety of clinical papers published in the past 20 years provide estimates ranging from 1:7,400 to 1:42,000 in assigned males and 1:30,040 to 1:104,000 in assigned females.[1][2][3]

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
