Are we back to go??
They’ve been pushing the “ever closer union” meme ever since 1957, i.e. in those words; the 1951 Treaty of Paris (which established the first iteration of the EU, the European Coal and Steel Community) referred to “an organized and vital Europe”, so they were thinking imperialistically even back then.
The EU commissioner is right. Why bother to stop at borders for any reason? Borders are so yesterday.
Big Brother to track your movements
Correct. They can monitor every car’s movements...and make the drivers pay for it with a toll.
