Got stopped on the street by a LaRouchee right before the 2000 election - I could tell by all the goofy stickers on the car nearby, which gave me a bit of time to collect my thoughts. As he approached, he asked me if I planned to vote in the presidential election. I told him “yes, I plan to write-in the Queen of England as my choice”.
Stopped him dead in his tracks - he damn near had a coronary on the spot. Those clowns have this major conspiracy theory that the Queen of England is the head of the global drug trade - can’t remember when I felt as self-satisfied. And as dumbfounded as he was, I could just go merrily on my way without any further hassle.

You don't even know it, but they've got you on their hook. You don't have to be trying to take God's place to keep them out of the homes of those who truly are His. He can see to that. You obviously cannot, since they are in yours, and by disregarding God's plain unarguable command, you are disregarding Him.

I hope you don't need me to tell you to treat them as other fellow citizens with a right to believe in whatever they want, as long as they don't inflict theirs on you in the workplace, and otherwise to act like a Christian yourself. That'll be enough.
I treat everyone with respect and dignity. At work, we are not supposed to get into political, religious or other contentious discussions, but it sometimes happens. I usually just walk away.
Even weather is contentious, causing Global Warming arguments from the liberals.
About the only thing we can discuss in a friendly manner is sports, but even that can get testy.................
That is no more a religion than Islam is.
Used to be women, the weather, and baseball, but now only food is safe.
