OK, I watched the trailer and it looked like a depressing foreign film only with American black guys.
If the “snafu” had happened the other way around, Hollywood would be a smoldering ruins this morning and everybody knows it.

This is how they try to reel their white Trump Democrats back: glorify maybe 10K black gays extant in the US and give the DNC to a Latino on record wishing to disenfranchise white voters. I love it!

And how could it happen that way? The last award given out was Best Picture. There should have only been one sealed envelope left to open and announce a winner. How was it that a duplicate best actress Oscar card was given to Beatty and Dunaway? If they had just read the card given them, they would have read “best actress” and somebody would then have known they had the wrong card. This whole thing would have been avoided.
And why is everyone beating up on Warren Beatty, when he said nothing, and it was Faye Dunaway who made the wrong announcement?
As I think about it; I think they gave the Oscar to that movie about a young black queer only because of social justice and BLM activism that have been demanding that more Oscars go to more black folks.
Having seen NONE of those moves, I can only guess which is more deserving. As if that matters. What truly matters is that being black and queer must be given prominence over better (whiter) issues.
