I saw it too and noticed what you aptly described. I do know that shy/reserved people can present as aloof and stiff when nervous/anxious (Been through it myself) but if that’s the case with Melania I hope she can start making an attempt to “fake it” during key camera moments like this. A slight smile and adjusting to more relaxed and open body language would have prevented the awkwardness.
Those looking for something, anything to latch onto are trying to make her into a target. People are green-eyes jealous at how strikingly attractive she is. They Dems hated Sarah Palin, too, because they were jealous of a woman who is smart and especially pretty and proud of it. Michelle Bachman, too, is nice looking and smart. They are afraid of outstanding women. They claim to be for women, but they are not. They want to make all the decisions for America’s women, even that she should abort the majority of her pregnancies.
I believe she was very influential in getting him to run in the first place!
I am a private person myself and married to a man not unlike Donald Trump in that he is very social and wants to be out and about all the time stirring things up with lots of folks, so in that respect, I can relate to how Malania must feel. She has made her mark in this world and now simply desires to be a Mother. However, like it or not, when she married Donald, she became a celebrity and public property, in a way, and her beauty simply solidified that. Why would she like him being President now that he is under such attack by the anti-American progressives who want a coup of his Presidency? Had he been treated like every other President we have had, I think she would have settled into the role of First Lady. Instead, the evil among us have attacked her as well as her young son, as well as Ivanka and Don, Jr’s, little boy. The evil is thick and green and is a constant drip, drip. YES! And, her devotion to Motherhood is really a black mark against her with the radical women. They want as many babies murdered as possible because, since so many of them actually hate men, and, therefore, do not plan to ever be involved with children, they do not want anyone else to be, either.

Yes. I believe if she decided to face her fears and come out strongly against all that is happening to her husband, she could be a strong factor in saving us from the evil which is shaping up. Her beauty, her ability to speak, her glamorous accent, her passion, her grace are not lost on this population or the world. As a legal immigrant and the First Lady, she holds so much power, almost of Biblical proportions, I believe, and easily could be Donald’s Trump’s secret and overwhelming advantage in all he is suffering right now. She is in sharp contrast to the shrieking voices of the radical women, so masculine, so unattractive in their hate, that she would be very influential, especially to young women just starting out in life. Come out, Melania. You have all the tools you need to become a lovely and very powerful historical figure in our time. We desperately need you and your son will rise up and call you “blessed.”

I seriously doubt the veracity of this article. DJT has been kicking around the idea of running for President for about three decades now. They dated for maybe three years before marrying. There’s no way the subject didn’t pop up a time or two. So if she truly IS unhappy, too bad. More often than not wives follow their husbands’ careers — whether hubbies are middle class or highly successful.
I never heard that it was Melania’s idea that he run for President. I did hear several times that when he told her he was considering it she said something like, “If you run, you’d better be serious because if you run, you’ll win.” Never heard it was her idea, though.
