I suppose conservatives and liberals have temporarily forgotten about politics, and are cheerfully eating and drinking at this event.

I have never been able to stand the taste of beer.
Give me a double shot of tots to make up for it.

In Minnesota they’d say that’s just the makin’s for hot dish, with a little liquid courage for the cook ;-)

There's beer, and then there's beer.
You got to find the beer that's brewed to your liking.
Speaking of which, I was listening to "Boston Blackie" OTR, and a sponsor was Champagne Velvet, aka "CV", an Indiana-brew that's just been brought back to life.

I like to listen to the vintage commercials that play on XM148.
Boston Blackie isn’t half bad.
I like Candy Matson.

(snow coming, school cancelled, yayyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!)
A decade ago I used to attend these company Thanksgiving picnics where there was deep fried turkeys and everybody brought a designated side dish, napkins etc...
The turkeys were always great BUT...
After the turkeys were finished the cookin’ would throw in tater tots and cook those in the turkey/oil... I gotta’ tell you... those were the best tater tots I have EVER experienced. Bar-None!
