Young people watch it. They see the clips at least. And when they hear the “news” they think the stories are real and can be taken at face value. They did a whole skit on Trump going on The People’s Court against the Ninth Circuit Judges. With Baldwin playing his HORRIBLE stupid mean Trump. The way they set it up, it was to say that JUDGES are higher up than the President. They were pretty careful to have the judge of the case never refer to him as PRESIDENT Trump. The truth is that the President was clearly, literally, following the Constitution he swore to uphold. And the 9th circuit clearly DID NOT.

SNL is subversive in that way. This sh** stays in people’s minds. They laugh at the dumb joke but the setup they osmose as real.

Huckabee’s daughter being trotted out this weekend on several shows, perhaps to take some of the media load and attention off of Kellyanne - she’ll weather the storm......
