Chavo Guerrero Jr. announced today that his father, Chavo Guerrero Sr. -- or Chavo Classic as he was known as in WWE while accompanying his son to the ring -- died from liver cancer on February 11. He was 68.
"As believer in Christ Jesus, he is now in Paradise. Today is a Sad day in the Guerrero Family," wrote Guerrero Jr. in an Instagram post.
Guerrero Sr. had been diagnosed with liver cancer in early January.

“The legacy of the late Eddie Guerrero is living in Chavo Guerrero Jr., right down to Eddies’ patented Frog Splash. Chavito, as he is known, is a third-generation mat warrior, following the path of his dad (Chavo), his grandfather (Gory) and, of course, his late Uncle Eddie. He started with WCW in 1996 and joined WWE in 2001. Chavo has held Cruiserweight and WWE Tag Team championship gold.”
