That’s nice. The driver took the chance that the rabbit was not sick or infectious. I’m glad it worked out.
So much unexpected intelligence all around us.
It’s for the best that dogs and cats cannot talk, or they would be making the air blue with profanity laced expressions of frustration. “F**ing People! Can they do ANYTHING right?!”

The rabbit was bony and malnourished, but is now back on his feet and up for adoption. Highway has already been adopted. Too bad the two could not have stayed together.

Domestic breed of dogs is a product of ancient humans domesticating wild wolves who hung around for scraps of meat and bones leftovers from a hunt. Selective breeding over 15,000 years has produced a variety of dog breeds who look so different. But the pack characteristics in their genes carries on, which include loyalty to death for the pack and subservience to the alpha male, which now is replaced by dog’s human owner.

I read or heard someplace that if all dog breeds were allowed to breed freely they would all end up looking alike after some years-——similar to Dingoes and Wild Dogs of Africa.

I know, right? Seems the dog “needed” his bunny friend.

If humans were like dogs the world would be a much better place, pit bulls and Chihuahuas excepted.
