Supporting her husband as he was sworn in as president, Melania Trump looked a vision in a baby blue custom Ralph Lauren dress and coat.
And as she stood by Donald Trump's side as he took the oath of office in the Jackie Kennedy-inspired ensemble, the designer saw their company stock soar.
When Ralph Lauren shares closed on Thursday before the inauguration, they were at $88.20 a share in what has been a quiet month for the American firm.

Any designer who’d refuse to dress our new First Lady has to be crazy. She looks elegant and beautiful in everything she wears, which can only enhance the reputation (and sales) of the designer. And any woman who can walk a parade route in what had to be 4 1/2 inch heels has my sincere admiration.
Saw some yesterday online claiming she looked like a mummy.

I’m awfully picky about fashion, like very few selections, but...the monochrome effect, the bolero, the color...I could hardly look at anything else. It was that beautiful.

I haven’t been enamored of many things Mrs. Trump has worn since the campaign began, but when she came out in that silvery-blue dress & wrap... holy moley... I thought, okay, Tom Ford, cry your damn eyes out! LOL
Only because it’s easier to find “Mooch Style” on the clearance racks at ROSS and Marshall’s.
“Grace and style.” Hmmm. Is that the new way to say Michelle looked like a lumberjack with a plus size butt?
Melania has good taste design wise. Unique, but simple designs. Money don’t hurt.
