I have. In the case I had it completely “broke the tie” - since both parties were giving their “version” of the loss and there were no witnesses. Pretty hard to dispute video evidence.
If your insurance carrier, USAA paid the claim under your collision coverage, you will have to pay the $1,000 deduc. However, USAA should subrogate the claim against the other parties insurance carrier, and if they recover, they should refund the $1,000 dudct. you paid. Good luck, some times it can be a long drawn out process.
