Is it too late to impeach Obama ?
Jan 17, 2017 | Vanity

Say the House were to impeach him tomorrow morning and the Senate in the afternoon, hypothetically speaking could he be removed from office by the end of tomorrow ? He wouldn't have to come into work Thursday, and like the North Koreans said, could spend the day focusing on packing while Biteme subbed. Attending the inauguration on Friday would be optional too. He could sit with former presidents - say next to a former impeached president or could sit with the general public. That would be a great sendoff.

I like it, but our neutered reps won’t do it.

But then Slow Joe would become Pres. for a day, and Trump would have to change all those hats to “46”.

Not going to happen. However his presidency can still be discredited in the future. Beyond that justice is in the hands of God.

Nah! They’d never have time to swear in the idiot from Delaware. He’d be like Lady Jane Grey — appearing on some lists of English Monarchs — absent from others.

Perhaps a post-inaugural retroactive impeachment?

The best revenge is undoing the damage he caused.Repeal of ObolaCare within a month of Trump taking office would be beautiful.A young, reliably conservative SCOTUS nominee...a young Clarence Thomas or Antonin Scalia...would be beautiful too.

Ex post facto if it were proven that he was ineligible to serve all along and knew it?

Trump is a given at this stage. I meant if some new evidence about his birth came to light. But on reflection even if he came out and admitted he was not born in the US I don’t think it would matter to the left at this point.

It should be shown if Barry was not eligible but it won’t.

There is no time restriction on Congress’s ability to impeach.
