I may have found a job.
I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers and to remind everyone that it is time to give thanks. He is always there for us.
I was fired just before Christmas, losing both my job and my home (I live on the ranches I work on). The holidays are a tough time to find work, as many know. It all seemed a bit Dickensian, but like most Dickens novels, we seem to have a happy ending.
Please continue to keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I transition from an unhappy place to a better, happier place and that He continues to give me the strength to do a good job and glorify His name and homeschool my granddaughter and raise her in His ways.
Thanks again.
Congrats! Now, go be a good steward of God’s money. :)
Wow. What a story! So glad you have a new job.
Hey, good news! Congrats!
Good to hear! Best of luck.
It is a start: 92,000,000 minus one = 91,999,999...Congratulations!
Congratulations!
“It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. Deuteronomy 31:8
I was not aware of your situation. However, I’m thankful for you and anyone else looking for work...and finding opportunity.
Make the most of it and count your blessings!
When God closes a door, He opens another..................
Wow, welcome to the club. I got laid off as well. Good news though, Trump won the election and once again he is working overtime to create jobs before he takes one step into office unlike Hillary who would be purposely destroying them to keep the serfs in their place.
May God continue to bless you!
Congratulations!
Congratulations, rey! My daughter found a job right before Thanksgiving after months of searching, so I can imagine what you were going through.
So pleased you got a job. That is great! God is great!
Congratulations! Same thing happened to me mid Dec from company I worked for 10 yrs—all access cut one Friday morning, I contacted them only for HR to call me within 5 mins on my cell phone to let me know they were doing “mass reduction” and I was gone immediately—insurance immediately cut same day. I am still looking and waiting for a few unemployment $. Thanks for keeping my hopes up!
If you have regular payroll deductions for your insurance, I believe you are paid up until the next pay period regardless of what they said. Also, you have 90 days to accept and pay COBRA IIRC. That means you can gamble and if anything tragic happens in the next 90 days, just pay up your COBRA and let the insurance cover the overage. I know it’s not an ideal situation, but take it from someone whose been let go at less than optimal times, don’t take everything they say at face value. Please make sure your are receiving everything you are entitled to by law.
