Eeek! Official Washington is being traumatized by the tweets of Donald Trump.
Politico has chronicled the pearl clutching concern by the inside the beltway types over Trump's tweets. It seems Trump speaking directly to the people via Twitter is causing a crises among politicians and lobbyists who just don't know how to handle it as reflected in the article title, Trump’s Twitter feed traumatizes Washington.

Trump has nearly 19 million followers on twitter which he reaches directly, not including retweets and media coverage of his tweets.
A TV show like Meet the Press only reaches 1.5 million people on a good day. The old media can’t compete. Trump is the new media.
I look forward to news WITHOUT the “reliable” anonymous sources leaks. PRESIDENT TRUMP is draining the MSM swamp.
I want Trump to continue to tweet! I joined Twitter just to be connected to him. I have only a few people that I follow on Twitter. Majority are the Trump family.

Strange, their hero FDR did the same thing with his “Fireside Chats”. What PE Trump is doing is just the 21st C version of that.
