A comrade in mischief went to a few ‘protests’ (ie; ugly manchildren and unpaid prostitutes screaming and waving badly-spelled signs) handing out hot cups of very sweet tea on a cold day and heartily encouraging the mentally deficient but defiant liberals blocking traffic and scaring away customers about a week after the election.
The tea just so happened to be “Laci Le Beau” brand on clearance at a local big-box store, which contains a nifty little herb called senna, which if consumed carelessly has some amusing effects on the drinker. Namely the lower end of your digestive system imitating Mount St. Helens. Needless to say the protests were either severely depleted or entirely cut short about a couple hours later. Nobody was sorry to see them go, except possibly a few local janitors.
Why wasn’t she/it arrested for BATTERY, and SENIOR ABUSE (a FELONY)

Runs in the family, no pun intended. One of my relatives got rid of a coworker whose gossip and snitching nearly got her falsely arrested by rubbing poison ivy leaves on her lipstick. The same aunt warned me against stealing cookies while we visited “because there’s already one unmarked grave on mu ranch and I don’t wanna have to go dig another today!”

Thank you. The best part is that unlike the old “ex lax in brownies” trick, the tea isn’t medicine meant to be used in strictly controlled doses. In the eyes of the law it’s a perfectly normal drink from a grocery store which specifically says on the box isn’t “intended to diagnose, treat or cure any disease”. No different than guzzling someone else’s prune juice with a similar result. So if the victim goes crying to the cops they have no case.

I was going to say this is old. It may have been published in Nov., but the dress of the people makes it obvious that it is from an earlier date than that. Plus I remember seeing it before, and not that recently either.
