RDA= Rafael dos Anjos, who took Pettis’ Lightweight belt. Few saw that result coming, he thoroughly beat Pettis’ butt, 50-45 on all 3 cards.

Pettis is now 1-3 since then.

“Uriah found that out- saw a fight where he broke both hands (and possibly a foot too if i remember right) “

Faber v. Mike Brown in the WEC, Google says he only broke one hand though, never saw it, I’ll have to look for a video.

Faber’s swan song is coming up this weekend (UFC on Fox, so everyone can watch it). Great career, too bad he never got UFC Gold.

it was an awesome fight- Brown was a beast at one time- very powerful- I thought he broke both- maybe I’m mixing it up with some other fighter though- could be- I remember also the rich franklin chuck lidell fight where chuck broke rich’s arm with a kick i think it was, and rich went on to win the fight- rich was another tough dude-

I don’t know too much about dos anjos- musta been a style that gave pettis trouble- unless like you say pettis is slowing down or something-

i agree about faber and gold- too bad he didn’t win it- he was a madman in the ring- very very fast- powerful too- I thought he was gonna be a champ-

If you can find the faber brown fight- do watch it- it was something-

i think the foot deal was jamie varner- now that i think about it- not sure why I’m remembering two broken hands=- you’re right about faber- uit was just one broken hand- looked like a nasty break too- had what looked like two screws in x-ray-

Mike brown kinda just bursted on the scene- dominated for a short while, then faded away it seemed- too bad-

Any news on bones jones? haven’t heard much about him lately-

RDA had perfect game plan for Pettis, he pressured him, stayed close inside, kept Pettis against the wall and out of kicking range, and managed to take him down a few times.

Yeah i think that was a great strategy- key to defeating him- RDA’s camp must have done a great job preparing him
