Lousy spot to be in. Kid gets taken away or possibly mangled.

I don’t find the humor in her joke.

Wow, I’m crying. That’s the funniest thing I’ve read in years. I tried to repeat it to my wife and couldn’t. I just had dental surgery today and I’m trying not to slobber all over my keyboard.

"Kayla Eby, a preschool teacher in Seaside, Oregon..."

I have never head of a coyote living near the ocean. We have them in the desert area of Washington State.

Any of you rural folk, if it was real, would the kid be in danger from a coyote that size?

Yes.

It would not kill him probably but it could tear him up.

I’ve had cats like that-I always adopt my cats from the local shelter-maybe the ones that were outdoors miss it-but here the shelter won’t let you adopt a cat unless you sign a paper promising to keep it indoors, because of the predator animals-like coyotes...

My cat Midget girl was a feral cat for the 1st 2 years of her life-she has never shown any interest in going out in the 3 years I’ve had her-Titus, on the other hand I got when he was just a couple months old, and was obviously someone’s lost pet that wandered off-he has no interest in going out, either-they both just like to sit at windows and watch squirrels and birds...

Geez..maybe i’m getting a little melodramatic. You’re right. He’s got some life.

What I DO Want is a friend for him but wife takes care of the cat pretty much and she says no.

She spoiled him. He’s 8 and acts like he’s 6 weeks old.

She and mom got him as company for me if i came out of ICU from head trauma 8 years ago.

Obviously, I did :) Been my best buddy ever since.

Compare the teeth and jaws of coyote vs. dog skulls... vastly different. Yotes can’t be in the neighborhood.. they eat everything.

we own dogs that will decoy coyotes to us...also got a few dogs with missing ears, tails, and scars all over the place...so yep you are so right

Geez. I realize the guy thought his wife brought a coyote into the house, but what a mouth (fingers) on him. He sounds like more of a danger than any coyote.

I’m glad you survived to be with your family again-you are most fortunate.

Titus is 10-he is spoiled, and acts like a baby kitten, too-the vet says it is because I’ve had him since he was so little, and spoiled him from the gitgo-both he and Midget are lap cats/Velcro-and Titus insists on being picked up and carried to my chair at the desk or the chair by the TV the minute I get home from work, just like I did when he was a kitten-he does not seem to care that he weighs 15 lbs...

Sounds like she’d be better off with a coyote than her sorry excuse for a husband and father.

Thank you, best laugh since Hillary was thrown into the meat wagon on Sept.11.
