I don’t believe they will halt the recount, but I do believe they will state that if the recount is not complete by the safe harbor date the prior certification stands. It appears Stein’s side agreed with that perspective oddly enough.

I agree they might punt on this as well. Hopefully the 6th circuit will shut this stupidity down.

two Clinton appointed judges, guy in middle and woman, one Wuba appoint judge...guy on the right. They all sounded wishy washy.... but it is hard to predict.

Has anyone heard a peep about the Pennsylvania case filed in federal court by the idiot?

They sounded like the recount is a ridiculous endeavor. If not for the federal judges’ ruling, I think this is a slam dunk.
I still cannot understand how his ruling binds them to a recount. His court was asked to remove the two day period for the recounts to start. Which he did.
The decision to recount had already been made by virtue of the elections panel deadlocking 2-2 on the question.

Presidents don’t appoint judges to state courts.

I think these were state, not federal judges. If they were a federal panel, they would not be concerned with following the ruling by the federal judge.

They will kick can down the road. I hope I’m wrong but I don’t see them halting the recount. Do these three stooges look like the three that will stand up for states rights and counter federal overreach? No way. I keep getting the image of the three monkeys who hear, see, and speak no evil.

my bad on being appointed by presidents but they did start on the appeals court; two when Clinton was pres and one when WUBA was president. Don’t know what effect that would have on the powers to be on WI at the time of appointment.

I watched it. I don’t think these judges are going to stop the recount.

Splitting hairs on aggrieved.

Ridiculous......

Also watched it. If this is how our court system works (debating the meaning of very clear words like “aggrieved”), no wonder things are in the mess they are.

There is simply NO FLIPPIN WAY that Stein is “aggrieved”. She got < 1% of the vote. Yet, there was plenty of discussion about all you need to do is SAY you were aggrieved to be able to BE aggrieved. Just a way for them to punt, apparently.

Wow..sounds like fun. Let’s go to all the states Hillary won and say we were somehow “aggrieved”. We don’t have to prove it apparently, nor have suffered any actual harm.
