In the 1980s and 1990s, call times of 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Eastern Time, long before polls had closed on the West Coast, were common. The last three elections, however, have been called between 11 p.m. and 11.30 p.m. Eastern Time.
But with Donald Trump already suggesting he will refuse to accept a result that doesnt declare him the winner, a similar controversy to what happened during the infamous 2000 election cannot be ruled out.

The only way Trump loses is thru democrat voting fraud.
We already know.
These guys can't stop lying!
I seem to remember that the 2012 was called at 9:00pm.
7 p.m.: Florida, Virginia
7.30 p.m.: North Carolina, Ohio
8 p.m.: Michigan, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania
9 p.m.: Arizona, Colorado, Wisconsin 10 p.m.: Iowa, Nevada
Florida is 8 pm due to the all important panhandle being in central time.
Remember Florida is in two time zones, see if the MSM does.
My bellweather is NJ ( polls Close at 2000
if DJT gets 47-49% in NJ then figure 300+ EVs for our team
DJT under 44% in NJ, then Crooked wins it all
Democrats (communists) keep spouting off about 'bringing us together'. There's no way I will ever be brought together with those who have been (and will continue) using the Constitution for toilet paper. Hillary chose well when she selected Kaine for her running mate. He has NEVER voted to support the Constitution once.
This was probably America's last chance to 'drain the swamp' and if the attempt fails, then I expect an eruption of monumental proportions.
Now we have 300,000 NATO troops amassed on the Russian border. This is no time to elect another contemptuous anti-American jackass as our leader.
“Remember Florida is in two time zones, see if the MSM does”
The Old Media remembers that just fine. They just act on their knowledge differently than you would.
I live in NJ, and am unsure as to what results here would indicate. Trump hasn’t campaigned here, and many of the Americans have left. While Christie won here twice, I doubt he’d win here now; the newer imports are now outvoting the established imports that were more conservative because they pay property taxes.
Depends on what % third party gets.
I expect CNN to declare a Hillary landslide at 10 am EST if not sooner. Strange Hillary cancelled her fireworks celebration in NY City

If Trump wins FLorida big. Like any where near the .gov poll it will be over when the polls close in FLorida. 7 PM? We know he has Ohio. If Florida goes Trump by 5% Hillary can’t whine. So, it could be over by 7 PM EST.
I think alot depends on Fla... if they call it for hellery early.. going to be a rough night. Can only wait and see...
When Wolf Blitzer, Andrea Mitchell, or some other aged fifth-column leftist media slut clutch their heart and collapse.
Let's hope we know early in the evening on many TV networks.
“I think alot depends on Fla... if they call it for hellery early.. going to be a rough night. Can only wait and see...”
I agree. Add Virginia to that list.
I intently watched the results (in 2012) in both those states. I saw that Romney was not performing as well as he needed to. I knew fairly early on that it was over.
