Anheuser-Busch InBev, the parent company of beer brand Bud Light, has pulled the company’s Amy Schumer-Seth Rogen-starring “Bud Light Party” television advertisements weeks ahead of schedule as sales of the beer declined in the third quarter.

Who was the idiot at InBev who approved a campaign that insulted half or more the targeted audience of beer drinkers. Create a campaign with a Bud Light Party with the same exact colors associated with the Democratic party with two Hollywood libertards as the spokes people.

The brilliance of the Clydesdale ads is that no one can be opposed or offended by big horses. The worst possible reaction is a shrug and an simple: “I’m not a horse person.” But every other reaction is on the upside.

But inflammatory and obnoxious celebrities? Plenty of downside. It’s the Dixie Chicks thing. If you insult half of the country, the sales will drop. Not hard to figure out.
