The most interesting thing about this election will be the day after.

What’s going to happen to the Republican party?
What’s going to be left of our media?
How much and how badly is the corruption entrenched?

Why would you want to leave when Trump just rejuvenated the party?

Yes, I’ll never vote for a GOPe type again. Nevertrump and the Bushies behind them have burned the bridge.

For the past few years we’ve been shall we say INACTIVE Republicans with regard to the party. We haven’t sent them a dime. We send any donations directly to the candidates we believe in.

I think we will remain doing the same policy until something exciting comes along we can get behind.

I am seriously thinking about it, esp. if McCain wins.

Yeah, for gods sake don’t try to advance forward after a victory. Don’t try to have an effect at the state and local level to capitalize on a win.
Any other brilliant ideas?

I agree. I live in arguably the reddest County in Arizona. EVERYONE I talk to is leaving. We are so disgusted with our Federal elected officials. I would leave today, but I am on the ballot. I am proud to have my name right beside Donald Trump’s name. I will frame it and treasure it forever. I think I’m a fighter, and he is the bravest man I have seen in a long time in politics.

I think if we lose, we need to run with Trump again in 2020. In the mean time, we need to vote to protect and preserve the constitution to the extent possible. I’m not voting for Republicans, I’m voting for the constitution.

Why?

For the first time since the 1980's we have an election cycle where there is genuine excitement and hope.

Will there be a draining of the swamp? Let's see. It will take hard work by all of us.

We need to tell the RINO's to hit the road. There are a lot of them - some that have pretended to be conservative using their "public" and "private" personas.

There are two major parties in this country. The Republicans and the Democrats. I'm not giving up control of the Republican party to the enemy without a fight!

Only a pub now to vote for Trump. After the 9th, I’m an Independent again.

I can advance forward by making a statement. I have been in this party and worked my ass off for this Party. No more money, time and effort to a Party who does not really help it’s fairly elected nominee unless it’s someone of their liking. Sorry if you don’t like my idea. Do whatever the hell you want.

Sure is sad to see a party die. The leadership has been hypocritical for years.

I left the GOP a couple years ago and registered independent (in my state, "unaffiliated"). I re-registered GOP to vote Trump in the primary, but just seeing "Republican" on my voter card turns my stomach.

Still, I'm staying in for now – to see what happens. If Trump wins and starts reforming the party, I stay. And by "reforming the party," I mean FIRE EVERY-FREAKING-BODY.

IF Trump wins and shows some success in revitalizing the party then I think it’s well worth staying. IF Trump loses OR wins but the RINOs gridlock him then I’m done with the SOBs.
