I wonder if her “meat dress” will be covered in flies by then.

Missing that performance will just be a fortuitous byproduct of my NFL boycott.

She did a great, RESPECTFUL job on The National Anthem; I’ll bet that’s why they picked her.
I think she’ll do a fine job with this, though I, too, prefer it when some of the older LEGENDS (pick one to your taste) take the stage.

She’ll wear her Constitution Dress.
By next February, the only thing the Left will talk about is the Constitution and its limits on federal tyranny, and the need for vigilance against usurpation of power.

The Super Bowl halftime show is a clear example of how little respect the NFL has for their fans.
Rabid NFL fans are more likely to listen to rock or country than to pablum disco pop. The Super Bowl should be a celebration of the culmination of the season. Even though lots of casual fans or fans of commercials watch the Super Bowl, it should still be about the real fans.
So the halftime show should be limited to those acts appreciated by true fans, not the idle viewer.
Instead for the last several years we get crapola like Cold Play, Janet Jackson, Beyonce, etc.
The NFL doesn't give two s**ts about their fans.
The NFL shouldn't have fans. It should die the quick death it deserves.
And it will when this country goes gaga for soccer and becomes part of the 'global community'.
I used to rue the day, but now I just say: Good Riddance.

Another good reason to stop watching the NFL.
The list gets longer every week.

Major league and college sports seem to be blind to increasingly angry white males, who are the main component of their market. NFL viewing is down this year. I suspect the NBA will experience the same decline. Too many people, especially white males, are tired of the PC of the front offices, boycotts of North Carolina, and the SJWs in football jerseys
"Lady" Gag(a) is another example of PC NFL pandering.

I remember one year, Earth Wind and Fire was one of the halftime acts. It was actually good. Maurice White, their late leader created a great medley of many of their hits which they actually recorded and added to an album.
That’s how it’s done.

The NFL is off my radar. It’s degenerated over the decades to nothing more than ‘bread and circuses’! Get rid of the protesting during games...and the slutty half-time shows...concentrate on the game... and maybe I’ll return.

Whitney Houston and Lady Gaga, both, however Whitney’s is the classic, sang the Star Spangled Banner as never before. Beautiful. I will watch her because of that respect she showed to America and to me.

I know you're joking about 'Up With People', but let me tell you. Back in the middle '80s I was a member of Spirit of Atlanta Drum & Bugle Corps, and we started a 4th of July Parade in Atlanta. Second in the parade was a float with 'Up With People'. They were some of the meanest, nastiest people I've ever encountered.
They were damn lucky some of them didn't end up dead in an alley in Hotlanta. Just sayin'...
