All about feelings with this one, not the law. Making decisions would not be so hard if one thought of the Constitution first.

She needs to wash her hair. How did we get such dirty, poorly groomed justices.

Indeed. A wise answer to a simple dilemma.

There should be only one winner and no losers resulting from a Supreme Court decision.
The winner is the American People who have entrusted this Court to preserve, protect, and defend the Consitution. Those who ask the Court to decide otherwise are not losers but simply people who have asked the Court to do that which the Court is not empowered to do.
I'm sickened by Sotomayor's statement, "she still marvels that she holds her position, noting she sits so close to the president at State of the Union addresses she can almost touch him."
The President sits so close to the Supreme Court at the State of the Union adresses that he can almost touch them, a co-equal branch of our government. Sotomayor owes her allegiance to the people of the United States, not Obama or any President. Let's hear what she has to say about this next year.

...reaching decisions is harder than she ever expected...what is so hard about calling up the DNC to find out what your decision is?

Sotomayor said the hardest moment after Scalias death in February was walking in to hear oral arguments and seeing his seat draped in black.
Theres a big hole, she said. The courts quieter.
From the end of the article. Seems to me that there is a lot of context here that AP deliberately left out.

there isnt one piece of me that takes control in judicial decision-making. I think some of us have suspected this all along.

What a joke, a divorced rabid liberal fool of a woman complaining when she has a job for life, an easy job that requires no thought on her part except saying no to everyone who does not think like her. FUSS!

Sonia, how about stop thinking of yourself as a Hispanic and a woman, and start thinking of yourself as an American, following the wisdom of our Constitution!
Refreshing change!

To the American people, her being on the “court” is mainly a curse.
