I went to this one last month - Royal Gorge in Colorado.. It's almost a thousand feet up, but at least it's over water. (Hell no, I didn't ride it.)

Many years ago I saw a child fall off a ski lift.

Happened about 60 feet after getting on it.

Mom had a grasp on the child but was slipping.

Employees sprinted like champs underneath them with a net.

They saved the day. Child fell about 20 feet, with skis on, into the net. It was cool.
