Marge and Homer Simpson agree to vote for Hillary Clinton in the forthcoming US election in a new video clip released by 20th Century Fox.
The standalone clip, entitled 3am, has been posted on YouTube.
Republican candidate Donald Trump is seen with a copy of a book called Great Speeches by A. Hitler in the video.
When Homer signals that he might vote for Trump, Marge says: "If that's your vote, I question whether I can ever be with you again."
Homer replies: "And that's how I became a Democrat."

Simpsons has always backed liberal themes.
I stopped watching when I was old enough to recognize it.

I miss John Swartzwelder. The best writer they had. Gone for quite awhile now. He was the guy who allowed the Simpsons to “Take No Prisoners “. Now they’re just leftist @$$hats.
Comparing liberals to Marge and Homer Simpson seems fair to me. Generous even.
In their early years, the Simpsons had some conservative writers, like John Schwartzwelder. Not coincidentally, there were some episodes in the 90's that were funny and weren't trying to preach some PC theme.
As the years went on, the Simpsons became cruder, more moronic, and more preachy politically. They went from being one of the only comedy shows worth watching on television to as bad or worse than the rest of the trash on TV about ten years into their run. The show is now almost two decades past its shelf date.
This only affects those already gone. Not just gone as voters, gone as human beings.

I quit watching cartoons past the age of eleven, the year Jack Kennedy was assassinated. Fritz the Cat and Heavy Metal being the exceptions, I suppose.
