Yes, Alton Sterling got into an altercation with the police and ended up getting shot. The blacks looking for trouble erupted in violence and caused even worse problems. The media failed in its job to point out WHY Alton Sterling died.
First of all, Alto Sterling was selling pirated DVDs on the street which is ILLEGAL. To many people, that is no big deal. But, it was a big deal. The store owner knew he was doing it and was probably getting a cut of the profits to allow him to do his illegal transactions on his store property. Sterling was dealing in cash, not traceable checks and certainly not credit cards. If he were well known, he had a LOT of customers looking for him and was probably at the time raking in a lot of CASH. The clientele he was dealing with were NOT upstanding, law-abiding citizens. They too, were criminals because they KNEW they weren't supposed to be buying pirated DVDs/CDs.
So, you have the perfect retail storm developing. Mr. Sterling is selling illegal goods tax-free, collecting a big lump sump of cash and one of his customers who was also a criminal decided (s)he wanted some of that cash and threatened Sterling about taking it. That's when Sterling waved his gun around and told the person to get lost. That's when the phone call went in to police that something was wrong at the scene.
When they show up, Sterling is aggressive and uncooperative since he is doing something illegal, store owner starts filming to protect his source of side income in the event the police have to get rough and then we saw what happened next. The police did not cause Sterling's death. Sterling caused it.
The only alternative he had when confronted was to surrender and he chose to fight with the police WITH A GUN IN HIS POCKET. And, when he tried to reach for that gun (because "...nobody gonna tell me what to do cause I dindu nuffin....") he got shot because a policeman didn't want to get shot in the face. The media knows all of this because they also have lots of experience with criminal confrontations from their jobs AND logical thinking skills (same experience that I have), but they didn't report it. The real criminals in this case are the media types who didn't tell the whole truth.
The police were called because a felon on probation brandished a firearm and threatened a homeless man. Then he reached for it while resisting arrest.
You're right. I doubt police have time to bother with folks selling trash on the street...unless they're called in for something more serious.
Alton was a troubled young college man trying to make a living for his 8 kids and 4 wives....welfare, food stamps and other free shit don’t pay enough. Most likely thinking about starting College.......WOW.....
And if you believe the cops are acting illegally SUE THEM FOR MILLIONS...*after* all the dust has settled.
This applies to all races,ages,ethnicities,nationalities,religions and genders.
Yeah the media spins it like he’s just a poor black man just trying to make some money to live on because the evil white man won’t give him a job. They leave out the part about him causing his own death by pulling a firearm and being belligerent when he’s a felon with priors that wouldn’t cooperate with an officer called to the scene.

I am guessing the dispatcher told him I had a CC permit. I told him I had a weapon secured in a locked box under my seat.
I'll finish that story in a minute, fast forward to three weeks ago, Mrs Gamecock is talking to her lesbian, tree hugging Hillary supporting sister, and the sister is delivering a lecture on police brutality towards the black man in the US. My wife caught an earful about cops approaching black men with their hands on their pistols and how racist that is. My wife tried to explain that is for the cops safety, but her sister just kept berating her.
Finally my wife shared the above story, about how we were pulled over by a BLACK deputy, who approached our car with his hand ON HIS PISTOL, and how we did the above things early in the stop. How I was polite. How the deputy asked to see my DL and CCP, then said, no, wait, I don't need your permit, which under law since the weapon was not on me person he didn't, but I gave it to him anyway.
How he gave me a ticket, which I deserved, and remained polite. How we cracked a couple of jokes and and the end of the encounter I told him to be safe. The we both went about our business.
The sister in law then shut up about it all.
The media is rabidly anti police, anti military, anti America. If there is anything at all they can do to destroy this country, they will do it. Emperor Obama had the gall and nerve to mention him at the Dallas Police memorial service, making most in the audience want to vomit. The Democratic National convention had the nerve to use him as a poster boy for their anti police week in Philly. We know the truth and its time to fight back with Donald Trump. I’m all in for sure!

Bottom line...nobody was hurt and the Commonwealth of Virginia was about $200 up on the deal.

I just heard he had a gun from a co-worker on Friday. I have to admit I sometimes just read headlines and didn’t know this.
I think a lot, if not 90%, of the NEW minority (white guys) could tell roughly the same story.
I heard some black guy screaming into a TV camera about how wrong is is to have to tell you son that they have to do exactly what I described above, or run the risk of getting shot.
Ummm, my white father told to to do that back when I was learning to drive, in 1976. I told my white daughters to do the same when I taught them to drive.
And we wonder where the blank faced, drooling kids come from; and the ‘special’ adults functioning at the level of 8 year olds mentally-but reproducing like adults? Almost every one of these criminals has a mental ‘disability’. Sterling was a well known criminal locally, long record, baby mamas and kids.’ Hustling’ is seen as GOOD by local blacks, he was an ‘entrepreneur’ in the hood. Felon carrying a weapon- which the police knew ahead of time. They were too condescending, IMO. They should have approached, weapons drawn, knowing who he was and that he was armed. Dead thug- live cops- good news.
Selling the pirated DVDs is a FED offense as well but no FBI agent would be bothered with it. Trust me, I asked. I watch it everyday I drive home. Pirated DVD is a big thing in the hood and you would not believe how many people buy them, including some police officers.
