Cemeteries are not a shrine to the dead but a library for the living.

I was taught the same as a kid. Problem I have sometimes is that depending on the cemetary some of them bury behind the stone instead of in front due to attempts to conserve space - makes it difficult at times to decide how to proceed.

I just buried my father. I always carefully avoid walking on top of a grave. It is so disrespectful.

There is a veterans cemetery near where I live. I visit there often. Sadly, it is necessary to post No picnicking signs. Some people have to be told not to let their dog take a dump on a veterans grave.OMG. That is truly outrageous.

True. And libraries aren’t only for whispering.

There are a bunch of big-bazoomed broads -- in orange/peach shirts and dark bottoms that look almost like uniforms -- in the forefront.
Can't help but wonder if there wasn't some neo-nazi organization slithering along and promoting this abomination...
And, most of those "kids" weren't kids. The folks who pulled this should be turned over to descendants of those who died at Verdun -- with hoe and pickaxe handles handed out in abundance...
