The right to skin you alive, make that skin into a wallet and still keep you working to fill it with money and benefits.

“Black pride” how can you he proud if you can’t get past toilet training? Like hearing “White Daddy, I’m finished” in a child’s singsong voice from the toidy, and Uncle Sam groans and goes to do his doody. Start your adult life by taking care of your own wipes, get your own azz off the pot, and start thinking like an individual that matters instead of like an ant that doesn’t want to piss off the collective.

Once a young black man was waiting for me to finish a conversation on the phone with my Mom. I told her “I love you” and finished the call, and somehow he was amused and amazed by that. “How can you say stuff like that out loud, even to your Moms? My friends would give me s... if they heard me say ‘I love you’ to any woman, even my Moms.”
“Well, that’s the difference. I’m a man and a man can say ‘I love you’ or do any other damn thing without giving a shit about f’ed up ‘friends’”. Not having enough “black pride” to quit being just another “black ant” is keeping him and his friends sitting on the pot waiting for White Daddy to clean up their mess and recharge their EBTs.

Its been thirty years since I heard a black man say “we’re going to start black businesses and employ black men” like they were even going to attempt to be part of any solution, even a biased solution for themselves is better than a life on the pot crying for “Daddy.”

I knew two black men who are both outstanding successes in life, but I knew without fail if they’re having a bad day or business didn’t go their way. From halfway up the walk: “White man” this and “white establishment” that. And one of them actually hated this country so much that he retired and sold everything he owned to move to South Africa because he believed he would be welcomed by his African brothers in a country where “finally the black man is in charge”...uhhh...excuse me...heard of Zimbabwe? Uganda? Somalia? Liberia? He went to South Africa and dropped off the face of the earth; went missing and his friends never heard from him again. He didn’t want “black independence”. He wanted a country where white people are practically on the run and doing a black man’s bidding. And what I think happened to him? He came off that plane with his attitude thinking he could walk the streets of Durban, and in their eyes, they saw a caramel colored spoiled White Man. And he got swallowed up like a midnight snack.

Not just the freebies. What about the disproportionate percentage of blacks in so many public sector jobs? It’s past time to raise standards and not make exceptions for race or ethnicity.

Very interesting observations. I suppose I lack empathy, because I can’t imagine what it’s like embracing a culture of non-responsibility.

No, it has nothing to do with rights. Blacks have more special privileges than whites ever dreamed of having. What they want is equality of outcome (money) without the equality of hard work and character.

They have the right to pursue any goal they want. It’s no one’s fault but their own if they don’t exercise that right.

I have no problem with equal rights, but surrendering rights for the sake of being PC is stupid.

“They want specific rights to riot and loot whenever they want to.”

Heck, they do this already, with regularity. How about we get the rights back that we once had to defend ourselves and our property from their rioting and looting.

We had this crap knocked in the middish 80's-90's. Then along came Slick Willie with his BS and it's been downhill ever since.
I'm thinkin they're confusing "equal rights" with "equal results". Happily socialist on a bigger plantation.

If nothing that has been done so far has worked then nothing will. So why continue trying?

Equal rights come with abandoning the entitlement attitude and stepping up to equal abilities by being industrious and working hard for what you have.
If you want respect then you have to earn it. It isn’t given freely; it must be earned through deed.

88%...that’s all?

I’m surprised it wasn’t 100% across all 57 states.

So many people confuse rights with opportunity. Even then, I was positive that every American had equal opportunity until someone on a lefty board convinced me otherwise with a list like this

* Whites are more likely to have 2 parents
* Whites are more likely to have a parent who reads to them at young age
* Whites are more likely to have a parent who cares about their school and grades
* ... about 10 more items along the same lines (i.e. PARENTS)

If these are right there and lefties agree these are problems (a lefty posted it) is an opening to a discussion that could change things. Unfortunately the lefty who posted it had a solution I disagree with: hire more teachers and pay them well to do for black children what parents do for white children from sunup to bedtime. My guess is that’s the only solution the left would be willing to discuss even though there is a common theme that has lots of room for discussion.

Only discussing this because of that Grays Anatomy actor’s disgusting, racist speech on BET Sunday

The current plan to achieve racial equality is to study every possible difference between the races. Everything that divides us.

I’d ask at what point does studying these divisions result in equality?

They are all unwritten, completely subjective “rights”. I put rights in quotes because they’re not rights as you and I understand them. For example, a big one would be “the right to go to a job interview and not get the job based without believing it was due to racism.” Right now, it’s likely that a black person who doesn’t get a job they believe they’re qualified for believes that’s due to racism over any other reason.

I think blacks should behave more similar to actual human beings, speak without swearing, and stop giving their kids ghetto names.
