The media elite weed out those who are knowledgable about guns. Ignorance of guns is a badge of honor in the old media cartel.

I gave up listening to Bill years ago. At least Hannity knows guns and strongly supports the Second Amendment. To blame an inanimate object for something is an attempt to absolve personal responsibility. For all the shootings in the world we refuse to address the underlying issues, whether it be religion, poverty, a culture of violence, or whatever. You will never get rid of all the weapons and new ones will replace those taken away. Our politicians and populations need to address the causes and, until that happens, they should be quiet.

Has been for years.

“O’Reilly told Trump the other night there’s no evidence that refugees are infiltrated by terrorists.”

ANYONE, again I say ANYONE, who claims that is a fool.

Because that’s what his friends at the Manhattan cocktail parties all think.

--O'Reilly stated that he wasn't very knowledgeable about weapons...

Then shut your yapper, already!

He pretends ignorance. He has been informed and corrected many times over the years, but still spouts the same tripe.

No excuses, Billy: just admit that you’re anti-gun.

We probably ought to see the working definition of an assault weapon in order to sort this out. The Orlando nutjob’s weapon wasn’t even an AR-15. Folks should be made aware that an AR-15 is like a pistol with better accuracy.

We should probably replace the term semi-automatic with single shot and end the confusion for all the folks that know nothing about this.

And we ought to expose O’s restraint on the FBI that enabled this guy getting a gun, and not let them get away with blaming the system, the system worked, the FBI knew everything about the guy but weren’t allowed to use the terror stuff they did know.

“The real question of the Orlando murders is how this jihadist son of a Taliban infatuated, Afghan father visited Saudi, had a suicide bomber friend, made multiple threats over the years, and STILL failed to alert those watching for these things. “

Because he was a poor oppressed Muslims who people made fun of and the FBI didn’t want to hurt his feelings by investigating too closely. Political correctness kills.

On that we are in total agreement. Every since we have been on Free Republic, I have sat on your Amen pew and sang in your choir.

I read that some that watched obama's lying [press conference?] said that he appeared to be disturbed. That I don't doubt. It is my personal opinion that the guy jumped the gun on him [obama] by about two months.

The Second Amendment affirms this right and if it is taken away, then they will indeed have a purpose and use.

Because without the second, none of the others are enforceable!

“And this guy is on our side?”

Nope.

The left has done a very good job of painting him as a conservative and then mocking his ‘conservatism’ (that was Colbert’s entire act).

As long as the terrorists are only hitting the average hoi-polloi, this will be the typical governmental response.

Interesting thought. What happens if a terrorist accidentally hits a prominent politician or his family? Will Congress show outrage and force action? Or continue to blame guns and lone wolves?

I agree with your post.

I just want to point out that this was a ‘known wolf’ and not a ‘lone wolf’.

Bingo! well said. They have to create a chaos to suspend the election which in turn will prevent Donald Trump from getting into the White House.

The Rats will go for broke, and there will be an “emergency” that does not permit elections.

Can you say "Armed Insurrection"?

Remember, priority targets are THOSE WHO GIVE THE ORDERS.

O’Reilly has always been a colossal ahole.

No wonder he’s friends with Glenn Beck.

O’Reilly is a Moonbat. 90% of what comes out of his mouth is BS. He talks about topics he has zero knowledge of. If he had any common sense he would do some research, and in this case actually shoot a variety of firearms.

I don’t think chaos will justify a canceled election at this point.

Constitutionally, it is better for them to build up Johnson and Weld, Weld being a lifetime liberal. If they could throw the election to the House of Representatives, I doubt that Trump would emerge as the Rino selection. I would bet on an establishment rino liberal. But that’s OK with the progressives if they can’t get Hillary.
