Oh come on, that’s an easy one to solve.
Any motor fails and all shut down. Ballistic chute deploys and you have a slow descent to ground level.
You first. No go ahead. I’ll wait til you come back. No I insist that you go first.
Doesn’t the concept of a drone contain the phrase unmanned?
How much money did the ChiComs pass to the Reid cartel to get the permits for testing? Talk about the ideal VIED.
Great flying. Very, very nice, Thanks.
It IS nice, isn't it ...
They are hoping to get a look at Area 51.
No thanks, I was just offering theory on how it could be done. I’ll stick to my tail Dragger airplane. It will fly after engine failure if I do my part...
I could see the requirement for a ballistic parachute since it can’t autorotate like a chopper.
Uh...OK, does this Chinese weed whacker come with one?
I ask as a former Huey driver where autorotation was the only means to survive engine failure. Parachutes were verboten as bailing out in autorotative descent meant sliced & diced.
The First Commandment of helicopter flight is: “Thy rotor RPM is thy staff of life, without it thou shalt surely perish”.
I don’t know if it comes with one. But I can imagine the FAA requiring one.
This aircraft has one, and it’s light and is fixed wing, so a glide shouldn’t be a problem.

Neat little machine. I like it.
Looks like it would be a blast. Wish I had $250k lying around.
