Donald Trump, former reality television star, finally has at least one celebrity in his corner. Comedian Roseanne Barr, who has run for the presidency herself, told the Hollywood Reporter that, 'we would be so lucky if Trump won. Because then it wouldn't be Hillary.'

'She's friends with everybody that gives her any goddamned money,' Barr said. She also didn't think Clinton, who became the first female major party nominee on Tuesday, stands up for women's rights.
As for Trump, the former sitcom star liked that he – like her – came from outside the political system.
'I like Trump because he financed his own [campaign],' she explained.
She also liked his tough stance on illegal immigration.
'To me, he's saying that the order of law matters,' she said.
'When a president can just pass laws all on his own, that is a little bit different than what America was supposed to be about,' she continued, alluding to President Obama's plans to fix the broken immigration system through executive action, moves that have been tied up in court.
Trump's position, Barr explained, was calling for people to be 'vetted.'
'We'll have to have legal immigration,' she said.
'It's all a scam, I mean, illegal immigration,' she added. 'When people come here and they get a lot of benefits that our own veterans don't get. What's up with that?'
Reading that on DM UK came as a shock to me. Didn’t she and Trump have it out a few times?

You have to wonder if Trump would have been endorsed by George Carlin or Richard Pryor if they were still alive. They would have found the PC environment of the last few years stifling.

I think you are correct, I sometimes listen to the "Opie and Jim" show on SiriusXM on my way to work, Jim Norton is a comedian of the Pryor/Carlin school, at first he comes across as your typical New York Liberal (VERY leftwing on social issues) however he has become a strong advocate of Trump on the show. He says he is going to vote for Trump for that very reason, the country has gotten too PC and if we don't do something, in a few years all comedy and speech will be censored and banned by the PC police.

Thank you. I’ve been picturing Rosie O’Donnell since this story broke. Roseanne Barr had the long running TV sitcom.
