As I’ve written before, Puerto Rico has a few fiscal problems. Well, more than a few. The U.S. territory has now defaulted on part of its $72 billion debt, and it’s looking to Washington to bail them out. Many Washington “solutions” fail to address the true problem. Sadly, that’s not uncommon. But then there are some attempts at fixing a problem that just make you want to put your head in your hands and sob laugh hysterically.
