Actually, I think Israel is supportive of a Trump presidency, they just don’t want to “interfere” in US politics or may be concerned that it may backfire, if they express support now.
Kristol is just trying to stir up trouble any way he can.

The two Republicans confirmed that French is open to launching a bid, but that he has not made a final decision. One of the Republicans added that French has not lined up a vice-presidential running mate or significant financial support.
