It means South of the Dome, even though the Dome is long gone.

What's SoDo?SoDo (south of down town). Essentially where Safeco Field is and south of there towards Boeing Field etc. Now "trendy"

I got a call from a friend in Seattle, he was having brunch at Columbia tower, the lights went off for an hour and traffic was in chaos. Police were not there to stop traffic accidents and unruly liberal motorists fighting and hurting people after they got into fender benders. Also he told me that a store near Pioneer square was almost looted by bums probably from the tent city set up in the administration building nearby. He went there it turns out the owner was a gun owner who scared them off. The power is back up now.
Seattle's finest were not there with their clubs to beat down the liberals causing mayhem and direct traffic yet according to the left Seattle has a police state. So where were they then to beat up the lefties???

Sounds like some now very crispy critter managed to cross two phases at the substation. An hour or two to get the feeders coming off that transformer rerouted to other transformers, and a few days to replace the damaged transformer.

It was professional courtesy, kind of like buzzards not eating lawyers.

I seen the lights go out on Seattle
I saw the Space Needle laid low
And all the fish in Pike’s Place rotted
Starbucks threw the coffee out
They’d imported from Mexico
