People have been modding Fallout 4 on the PC since it was first released. Despite not having the official tools from Bethesda, they've found ways to add full dialogue options, lightsabers, and much more. If you thought there were a lot of mods before, then prepare yourself for a whole new level of modding.

Yesterday, Bethesda officially announced the availability of the Creation Kit. Bethesda has supported mods for many years, but this time around, they're doing something different. Now mods will be available to find and install within the game, using a Bethesda.net account. What's more, for the very first time, you'll be able to access these kinds of mods from a console.

Was surprised that the ghoul working on the robot pony would get one up and running after I brought him the parts he needed.

But now it appears that those extra parts are going to be part of somebody’s power armor?

If you work, you eat. It’s that simple.

How about an army of Liberty Primes? That would be cool.

Now if BioWare would do the same for Mass Effect 3...

I was really disappointed in this one; not sure even the GECK can save it, given the four response dialogs, flat characters, general loss of RPG elements. It can fix the lack of variety of weapons and armors though. I thought the power armor too overpowered so I didn’t use it. I like shotguns, battle rifles, ability to customize ammo. For FNV I made sabot rounds and HE for twelve gauge with realistic penetration abilities and simulated impact fuse. What a hoot!

F4 was the disappointment of the year. Action games should not be combined with farming/civ games. Bethesda made out this time because no one saw it coming, but the brand has been damaged and if there is a F5, it will face major scrutiny before being purchased.

It would be nice if someone would:

Raise or eliminate the limit on how much you can build in a settlement.

Eliminate the clipping that happens when you build over weeds and rubble.

Be able to have a human and a robot/animal companion at the same time.

I think the voiced protagonist and the loss of being able to play as a bastard, really hurts the long term replay value of F4.

In F3 and NV you could truly achieve a different experience by choosing different factions and alignments. In F4, there is no real alignment system, just a companion like/dislike that doesn’t seem to mean much.
