House Democrats on Tuesday released letters from Pentagon officials that they said should put an end to “silly speculation” generated by Republicans that protecting a bird known as the greater sage-grouse could hamstring the U.S. military.

They're hoping the new information persuades lawmakers to oppose a GOP provision in the annual defense policy bill that would block the Obama administration from protecting the sage-grouse under the Endangered Species Act for 10 years. The measure also would prevent implementation of land-use plans by the U.S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management to conserve the sage-grouse and its habitat. …

"These letters put to bed once and for all the silly speculation that a few birds could hamstring the greatest fighting force in the history of the world," Grijalva said.

Like emissions regulations did? This is exactly the thing that hamstrings the military.

And what about regulations that our military must now take global warming into account, when planning any military activities?

Imagine if General Eisenhower had to worry about the carbon footprint of the Normandy invasion.

We know for certain that Dems/Marxists/progressives don't care a whit about birds, including threatened and endangered species.

IF they did, THEN they would campaign with all they had to close down the birdie-murdering wind farms (which are littered with dead and dying birds.)

We also know for certan Dems/Marxists/progressives don't care a whit about National Defense or our fine Military.

We also, also know for certain that lying is more than okay with them, it's a sport.

"Imagine if General Eisenhower had to worry about the carbon footprint of the Normandy invasion."

What about the rules of engagement our troops have now no targeting of civilians no destroying buildings or infrastructure unless absolutely necessary.

In WWII the allies laid waste to many European and Japanese cities and killed 100's of thousands maybe even millions of civilians in order to destroy the enemies ability to wage war.

Today such an act would be considered a war crime.

Why is it that the Dim Dems who claim to believe in evolution, which in part says “...The strong survive...” work so hard to thwart natural evolution, by making sure the strong die and the weak survive?
