Vanity-If delegates choose our Nominee then voters should darn well get to vote for the delegates.

Posted on 04/18/2016 9:55:53 AM PDT by Cats Pajamas

If we can't pick our nominee then we should get the chance to vote for delegates. The RNC/GOP should not be able to wine/dine and cherry pick delegates.

THIS NASTINESS IS NOT A REPRESENTATIVE REPUBLIC. IT IS CHERRY-PICKED AND GERRY-MANDERED ON BOTH SIDES.

Democrat and Republican are just made up words to give us the appearance we have a choice.

D.C. is an elite club and we ain't in it!!!!!

Then let’s go to Cleveland and burn (figuratively) the whole damn thing down if our man doesn’t get 1237 before the convention.

People are finally getting to see how the Cheap Labor Express has managed to get an amnesty candidate in every election since the last amnesty.

Designated losers like McCain and Romnney would not have been the voter’s choice.

I’m seriously considering going. Having health issues but if they’re resolved or stabilized I’ll be there.

You’re free to start your own party and pick the delegates any way you want.

I have been an elected delegate in the past.. Believe me, in some areas no one runs for it.

In Wyoming, registered GOP voters who wished to vote did. Cruz won the vote.

Why didn’t Trump voters win? Why was Trump unable to turn his voters out?

Yes, we do. Don't let an uninformed, ignorant electorate get in the way though. It's time to stomp our feet, raise our voices and pitch a fit over things we don't understand!

Note: I'm a Trump supporter but at least I understand (and have understood for 30+ years now ...) the rules by which a candidate wins primaries and the nomination.

Having said that, the "delegate" system is ripe for corruption and manipulation by the respective political parties rules committees as well as the state committees and that's where the corruption exists. What we are seeing is not a system that's "rigged" for one candidate or another, but a MANIPULATION of that system by corrupt politicians and party insiders.

This is absolutely outrageous!
So, basically, less than 2000 people in the entire country determine who our President is.

Are you a Republican? Are you active with your local Republican organization?

If so, you are in a position to be a part of the solution. If not, you are a part of the problem.....and whiny.

Some of the data that has been put online the past few days is appalling. I had no idea how extreme the vote theft against Ron Paul and Rick Santorum was. I can't help but think that if had been votes that mattered, Santorum might have had the momentum to get the nomination. With Ron Paul, if his supporters hadn't been so darn nasty and arrogant, a lot more folks would've supported their rigged delegate selection claims. And with McCain? It always seemed strange the he was declared the "prohibitive favorite" after NH, when it seemed that Huckabee was real popular with the voters.

Now we know. It's all a farce.

I'd be totally happy to have Trump vs Sanders as the best way to destroy the system. Would I be afraid of the results? No. In a true debate about the principles, Constitutional Conservatives win, every time. If only we could get rid of the backstabbing elite who steal our votes with lies.

I suspect Cleveland and maybe Philly too will be something historical.

Why does a local Republican have to be active to be part of the initial phases of electing delegates to represent their preference for a candidate? Do you REALLY want every registered Republican to show up at party meetings?

I was part of my local but left due to same kind of chicanery, back stabbing, cheating, stacking decks that apparently is the GOP RNC modus operandi. Not whiny and not a clueless doormat for RNC. No longer consider myself Republican. I am fully awake now and see how things really are.
