Not a Trump guy, but I think that's really quite a good response:

"That's a really interesting question. What's your next question?"

His handlers have been working with him. That's a tactful way to tell the interviewer "No, thanks. I won't be taking your gotcha question bait today."

More Republicans need to learn not to take the bait.

That at least is a question that can be answered.

The question of "When he was a swinging bachelor in Manhattan, was he ever involved with anyone who had an abortion?" is worded so broadly that it a bit on the stupid side.

I would have been tempted to answer that my doorman had one after he discovered the child was carrying the Journalist gene.

I’d like to know how many times he’s smacked his mother.

Hillary was recently in the news for this also.

Article: "Hillary 'had several abortions', kept Chelsea for political appearances: Bill’s former lover."

He ought to have answered the question. If the answer was “yes” he could have picked up points for honesty, and since there is no stigma attached to a person for simply associating with someone who has had an abortion it would have cost him nothing. If the answer was “no” it might have meant one of two things: (1) he selects his friends on the basis of his moral scruples; or (2) he moves in circles where nobody would dream of having an abortion.

I’ll answer that question if and when I offer myself as a candidate for President and go on record to say that I oppose abortions

He had two half sisters from his father's first marriage. One is a doctor, and the other, Miriam, died at age 49 of prescription drug overdose. The latter had some minor brushes with the law.

So, Steelfish, have you ever been involved with a female who had an abortion?

I don't know about Steelfish, but I have never been involved with a female who had an abortion. Just pretend that I posted the article instead of him, and you'll be okay.

Whether Any Past Partners Had Abortions
IT'S NONE OF YOUR FRIGG'N BUSINESS!!

Abortion-abortion-abortion I'm so sick of this shit. There's nothing a President can do about abortions.

Anyone with half a brain knows there is NOTHING a President can do about ABORTION-ABORTION-ABORTION...

What a bunch of NOSY low-life (abortions OK before 20 weeks) imbeciles some of you people are.

Trump is simply not ready for prime time.

We’ve done so well with candidates who were ‘ready for primetime’.

Cruz won’t answer the question of whether he cheated on his wife. He’s not ready for prime time. See how that works? You are pathetic.

How on earth would he know if people he had dated had had abortions? If any of the women he married had, would he know? And what gentleman would say, one way or another? And what business is it of the media?

Sure, a President absolutely can appoint judges that will overturn Roe vs. Wade and can also defund Planned Parenthood. A President could lobby for a Human Life Amendment, but that is obviously up to Congress and the states and is a very long shot.

He ought to have answered the question.

He ought to have suggested to that harridan that he could arrange a contest with Ronda Rousey for her. Before 1820 men might have shot each other for much less.
