Let's say YOU dated someone who told you she had had an abortion. You may never even date her again. Would you tell the world something that was told you in confidence?

Name one anchor/interviewer that has asked Hillary Clinton how many abortions she has had. Apparently a few. Chelsea got lucky because they were trying to run for higher office and needed a kid/prop.

I just pointed out that one was easily answerable being specific and personal and one was essentially unanswerable being way to vague and involving the actions of other people.

And BTW a miscarriage is medically an abortion. Most happen in the first few weeks of pregnancy long before you know that you are even pregnant.
So if you are prepared to split hairs, and I have yet to meet a journalist who didn't, most non-virgin females have had an abortion. What they usually have not had is a medically induced abortion.
If you are going to ask questions like Maureen Dowd (heaven forfend!) the question would be, " Are you aware if any of the females you had coitus with prior to your being married became pregnant by you and had a medically induced abortion?"
That is actually a question that it is possible to answer.
Proving the veracity of the answer on the other hand negative or positive would be a major bugaboo.
Most people are involved with more than one person before getting married. That doesn’t mean they are intimate with them - they just date them.

So, you think he should have set off an indiscretion bomb, with the press hounding every woman he ever dated to ask them this intensely personal and tasteless inquiry? You don't believe people's medical history should be private?
Of course it was an impertinent question. But Trump should have delivered a knock-out answer rather than be seen as attempting to dodge it. Trump is seeking free media and is unwilling spend his billions of dollars to define him. He is a neophyte and is allowing the media to define him as a buffoon.
And Cruz is relegated to playing spoiler while many who really hate and fear Trump "support" him for now....will be interesting to see how much they really support him if he manages to stop Trump - don't apply your own hero-worship of Cruz to those who ultimately make the final deals - they hate him as much as they hate Trump but they fear Trump more.
