Alright then, perhaps others on the thread will benefit.

Btw Newsmax TV has been very good lately for those of us who are burned out on Fox news.

They may as well listen to Jake Tapper. He was on the radio being interviewed. He is very concerned with the Republican delegates' dilemma and that they will lose the Trump voters, but thinks the party bosses wil solve it one way or the other. Oh, and he said his Republican source told him that while the Clinton email investigation is very serious, she will not be indicted because it would be too difficult to win a conviction. However, some of her State Dept. aides will have serious trouble obtaining security clearances in her administration.

There is small chance, Kasich can pull it together, but very small—like 2%.

After the first ballot, if Trump does not get the 1237, the GOPe bosses will open it up to more candidates, until they get what they consider an acceptable outcome.

TrusTed > JilTed, but that's to be expected, baked in, so to speak.

Cruz has said he will not support Trump.

Hasn't Trump said he will not support Cruz? I mean, how can he, since he calls him "Lyin' Ted" every chance he gets.

Can't have it both ways, FRiend.

If GOPe Cruz succeeds in stopping the Trump he will be rewarded by the GOPe with the VP slot is my best guess.

The hundreds of millions in attack ad appears to be working. Trumps negatives are going up. It is begining to look like a contested convention, where the GOPe can put a Jeb,Romney,Ryan,Kasick at the top with a Ted or Rubio in the VP slot (a bone thrown to tea party types).

Before you cruzers celebrate ted ad vp have a look at this

The hatred that I feel for the GOPe burns within me with a passion that will never die.

Add Ted Cruz to that list of traitors.

GOPe aka Uniparty has a top priority, and it is not wining elections.

Their top priority is keeping social, economic and political globalism progressing. They don’t care if they win or lose an election for the GOP as long as a trusted globalist wins...Hitlery.

Ted Cruz wins the GOP nomination fair and square, without jumping into bed with the GOPe. In that case, his narrow demographic base probably dooms him, but at least voter enthusiasm is preserved.

I don't see how the GOP nominating yet another sure general election loser, with a smile, preserves voter enthusiasm.

Once Trump is out of the picture (later this primary season, after November, in four years or in eight years), I'm out of the GOP. I might still vote for their candidates for office, but he or she would have to be an exceptional candidate and frankly, the GOP doesn't make exceptional candidates. If the democrats win, the liberal agenda advances. If the GOP wins, the liberal agenda advances. Like the smart lady said, "what difference, at this point, does it make?"

A “not-NBC” is not eligible to be VP.

We are no longer a constitutional republic. We now live in an oligarchy, just like Mexico.

I know what you mean, "Anchor baby", "Stole Iowa", "Lyin' Ted", I can't stand that crap.

The others have had it very light compared to the nonstop, 24/7/365 demonization of Donald Trump.

Get real.

I would definitely not categorize Trump and Trump supporters’ savage and nonsensical attacks on Cruz as “very light”. We’re gonna have to agree to disagree.

Not "very light" in terms of intensity, "very light" in terms of quantity. There's just no comparison to the concerted demonization that is occurring with respect to Donald Trump, from the Left,GOPe,Establishment, and Cruz himself.

With or without Cruz's help, it's an all-out, desperate, slanted bid by the entrenched Establishment interests to subvert the will of conservative voters. It's incredible, it's diabolical, it's shameful and, given modern day networking/media capabilities, unprecedented.

If Ted Cruz ever ends achieves frontrunner status, or becomes the nominee (unlikely, due to shenanigans), he will become the focus of demonization by the Left, Mass Media, and probably even the GOPe, and will face much of the same.

Ted Cruz ain't seen nothin' yet...

Now, if that don’t scare the hell out of you then nothing will.

They’d rather see America commit suicide than go Conservative now. I hope the bastids rot in hell.

Well, I’ve been supporting (and continue to support) Trump since July. I was happy to vote for him in February, and I hope to vote for him in November.

But.

I agree that the anti-Trump forces are making progress. And I believe they have found a weakness (ego/pride/combativeness) and that they will continue to exploit it.

If Trump does not arrive with 1237 delegates, he will not be the nominee. Period.

Cruz will, of course not be the nominee under any circumstances. Romney/Bush/Ryan are using him to set the stage for a GOPe nominee.

I also think the only hope for the GOP is Trump. We need to welcome in the blue-collar whites who are being taken for granted by the Democrats. If we get them on board, leaving the Dems as the party of racial and sexual minorities, then we win, and the Dems implode.
