If there was ever something that could unite this site like nothing since the Impeachment Trial, I say it is stopping a leftist tool appointment by the current President who has shown such is always his preference.
Dirksen did it. Teddy Kennedy did it. FR can do it. We shall take this as our personal mission. It will be hard to stop the appointment for eleven months, but so was impeaching Clinton and we did that.

If this is really the GOP year, then Rubio (even more than Cruz) must demand that the Senate leave the seat vacant for one of them on the stage to fill.
To do otherwise would be a betrayal of all Republicans by the Senate Majority Leader. Both Rubio and Cruz must say that. Tonight.

Ted Cruz has the bully pulpit right now, and so does Marco Rubio. It’s called the GOP debates, and there is one tonight. Let’s see if Cruz and Rubio together can lay down a line in the sand that McConnell dare not cross.

Trump winning neutralizes any leverage Cruz had Trump won’t care enough he has no clue how to select a justice thought his sister would be great and she is a hard core leftist who favors partial birth abortion.
I don’t see that happening. I think Obama knows that the nominee has to be somewhat Conservative, since a Conservative is being replaced. He’ll shove some “Moderate” white guy down our throats, thinking that Conservatives will go for it. But he will vote just as liberal as the others.
If the GOP gets Obamaholed by the libs in the appointment process, this GUARANTEES its demise.
There is only one conservative voice that can move Hatch. Mark Levin spared him last cycle for old times sake and debts of thirty years or more. What do you say Mark, call in the chips?
