It's YUGE! The American Empire Style is nice, if I got the right category.

After watching that Discovery Channel piece on Youtube about Trump’s 757, it dawned on me that for the first time, flying on Air Force One and living in the White House will be a step down for the Trump family. Not that they would not be supremely honored, but quite a difference from the pilfering Clintons and bellyaching Obamas.

Not to be outdone, Ted Cruz also opened a Hotel in Washington, DC. It is not near the Capital, but just down the street...

This was an historic Post Office. He did a re-hab into a fantastic hotel.
The old Post Office almost bit the dust...not once ...but twice.
Trump saved it.

Imagining what I can do with just half of the half of my income that the I.R.S. takes from me...go, President Trump. I could stay a weekend at your Washington Hotel. And STILL buy sheetrock and insulation and roofing and nails....

I’m always happy to see old architecture (the good stuff) saved and put to use.

My dad once told me that as a young boy he watched Harding’s inaugural parade down Pennsylvania Avenue from the Old Post Office Building. He told me that the Shriner’s had some type of light bulb on their right shoe which flashed red in unison every time they took a step.
