If there were a group that hated the West and wanted to attack airlines, I might start to get concerned. Fortunately, we know that followers of the Religion of Peace would not harm anyone - they love us as much as Obama himself does.

Not to sound snarky, but I doubt they were feeding you lasagna for free.

Anyhoo, they still feed you good food and Champaign on first class... I’ve heard. Fork over 4x, ditch the poor peoples’ cabin, and you receive free luxury meals and enough legroom.

Landing in Iceland.

Runway length at Keflavik might enter into the decision. The 777 had already burned four hours of fuel so one would think they could get off from Keflavik if they did not refuel though. Iceland does get international flights after all.

It is likely a slow leak from a pressure seal. This can happen because of dry rot, or an improper lubricant got into the seal, or just because it was not swapped out after its expiration date.

Runway is 10,000 feet and the airport is fairly sizable (35 gates) with lots of large jet flights. This is all probably nothing, but maybe not everything that happened on the plane is being reported.
