"Can you imagine the outrage if someone had administered the Oath to Trump at a rally?"
I can't imagine that happening.
It's risible.
When combined with the "unlikable smarty pants" meme that Trump has been on over the last couple of weeks it's likely Cruz' permanent caricature in the modern media.
Glen Beck called up the nerd to swear him in as Homecoming King and it was all a cruel ruse.

but remember what that dolt did right after the Palin pick? He was so weird I wouldn’t have been surprised if he’d broke down in tears on camera.
That boy ain’t right.

Isn't this REALLY putting the cart before the horse?
WHAT WERE GLENN AND TED THINKING ?

Beck always goes overboard. As i said in another post. I doubt Cruz knew Beck was going to do that.
He should have told Glenn he wouldn’t take that oath until it was real. He could have gotten out of it.

"Oh Gawd, Now Beck says Ted Cruz, the first hispanic President of the United States."
Trump will call out Beck loudly on this one!
"I don't know why Glen Beck referred to Ted Cruz as the first Hispanic President. Everyone know he's a Canadian." LOL

No endorsement is ever going to be unanimously seen as a success, but this one sure seems kind of awkward from the get-go. If the Glenn Beck of, say, three years ago had done this, then it might be a big plus for Ted Cruz. Alas, this is the GB - whether real or fake - of today.
Sarah Palin's recent endorsement of Donald Trump is probably just as double-edged in the long run, but it sure had better optics.

And Cruz accepted an endorsement from a nutjob, why?
And Cruz appeared on stage at an event with the nutjob?
Either Cruz is desperate or he’s got pretty lousy judgement.

This is a non-thing. Unless you are a Trumper looking for anything and everything to slime Cruz with. Not everything and anything. But this one thing should do fine. Thanks for your concern.

Amazing especially after Cruz tmweeted this lie yesterday:
"Adexposing how Trump has used eminent domain to bulldoze an elderly woman's home to create a limo parking lot" https://t.co/zK7wI1QQUC— Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) January 22, 2016

Not a good idea to accept Beck’s endorsement.
Or this sort of fruit cake thing happens.
Strange is the only word that comes to mind.
