Who was slimier, Rockford's Angel or Hooterville's Mr. Haney?

At worst, Haney would have just bankrupted the Douglases, whereas Angel frequently put "Jimmy" in danger of his life, so I'd say Angel was the slimier of the two.

Haney was the more irritating of the two though- there was never a break with that guy.

Darn right! PS was one of the very best and that was one of the best TV sitcoms ever. (I have not seen it anywhere on the Tube in at least 50 years. I wonder why, so many other lesser sitcoms are shown?)

What! 20 seasons and no one from Gunsmoke made the list! This list is a ripoff without Kitty Russel. Only 1 character from a Western even made the list. What about Hoss Cartwright, or Lucas McCain?

I was only three words into your paragraph about Howard and the dog when I burst out laughing. I also liked when LaRue and Washington sent the mechanical alligator in the sewer when Howard and the EAT team were down there hunting sewer alligators. Hilarity ensued as LaRue and Washington stood near the open manhole listening to sustained automatic gunfire from below.
