Surprisingly little wind, most of it was down south.
Lammyno if you got a charity for that recovery effort there HG, I’m good for ten bucks!
John Wayne comes to mind.
We’re good so far.
I’ll probably sack out sometime and thus be unaware of the overnight devastation.
Best to just go ahead and send the ten bucks before the rush, that’ll get it there sooner.
OMG, the middle of America is covered with White, Blue and Green Squares.
Where did they come from? Are they Aliens?
Is this an Invasion? Help me.
so delightful...... Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
Joe Bastardi’s Weatherbell Saturday Summary

In Lansing we have a winter storm warning in effect from 10 am tomorrow until 5 am Tuesday. Calling for 1/4-1/2 inch of ice accumulation.
With a little luck there will be wind which won’t allow the ice to accumulate.
Not bad ...... drifts are 4ft to 6ft high on my roads, more is curling in from SE now, winds still very high ..... high wind snow drift event. Drive on clean dry road for 30ft then bash thru tall drifts. Some of the drifts are not washable even in town..... lost power many times overnight yet wood stove saved the day....
Snow day at the widget works for me..... 4-7 more inches due this evening late.
You ?
Yeah weather guesser sucking air on this one......
Dan True still alive ?
We’re covered in it too. Has al gore been spotted in the area?
I live in NE OK, too, and I think you're an incurable optimist with that expectation.
I remember Christmas Day, 1973! Almost 15 inches in Farmington NM. I-40 Shut down. I was trapped in Tulsa Ok that weekend and was two days late getting back home to Farmington.
Anyone remember THE BIG ONE in 1968? The Navajo Reservation was devastated with deep snow. The National Guard was flying hay into isolated sheep herds.
But then, that was before glo-bull warming!

Went through North East NM and the Oklahoma Panhandle two years ago. First time I ever saw it green in 69 years! Went through Cimaron Dry Canyon from Raton to Boyce City in July this year, and it was wet everywhere! They had just had a real bad storm the day before!
Wonder if Optima Lake has water in it now. They have been waiting for a frog strangler for the last thirty five years!
I see Roswell got hit pretty hard with snow. I was there in 1967 and saw ONE snowflake that entire winter. But Man it was cold!
Meanwhile those of us here in Jersey have been having record breaking highs in the 70’s for the last few days - the weather moves around a lot, but on average it stays pretty much the same worldwide....
Looks like it’s stopping. Dug a path to the grill and had steaks. No work for me tomorrow.
