Not to hijack the thread or anything, but I'm not sure who I find less credible; Al-Jazeera or WaPoo.

Or is there a difference?

It was 2010 and 2012.

Sorry but after Lance Armstrong my naïveté with sports stars has been used up.

Was Manning’s denial sung to the tune of his “Nationwide” commercials?

NO! We barely just started equating Al-Jazeera to WaPoo! No fair!

Yep.

ESPN
“Source for Peyton Manning-HGH story recants, says Al Jazeera distorted his statements”

Lawsuits brought by very rich people can be expensive to defend against.

Those Nationwide commercials should have Peyton talking only.
When he ‘sings’ he sounds dopey.

HGH is NOT a steroid and should be permitted by all pro sports for decreasing healing time after injuries and surgeries.

That’s the point, it’s always been Peyton’s persona as kind of this dopey character.

Exactly, even if Peyton took HGH, this is one case where it would have been perfectly legit.

Al Jazeera?

Yeah, I assume the reports will be investigated by the NFL, and if Manning actually did anything wrong, he'll be called on it by the league. I don't find reports by Al Jazeera particularly credible, and apparently the accuser has already recanted. Manning has accomplished far too much to be smeared by recanted accusations of PED usage.

Personally, I think the NFL should provide warnings to players, but permit the usage of any performance-enhancing substance that athletes want to use. If they wish to take the risk to their own health, they're competent adults who should be able to make that choice - they're already taking that risk just by playing, given what we're learning about the damage caused by repeated concussions. And it's not like many of them aren't already using anyway.

“Giant arms”? “roid moster”? rofl. Physique-wise, he’s unremarkable for an NFLer.
