I want someone who knows what he's doing, not a rank amateurYou mean like getting beat by a 'rank amateur' in a political campaign?
If Cruz were so damn good as a politician, he wouldn't be trailing the 'rank amateur' in a campaign.
He's getting 'schlonged' by Trump.
Face it, beyond Christians and hard right wing conservatives, Cruz has no appeal outside of that base.

I think Cruz and Trump are each other’s second choices. I don’t want to see any attacks either way. Let the chips fall where they may, as long as the RINOs fall by the wayside as the two of them attack their competition.

What’s to attack him about? Some minor policy differences, maybe.

Because God knows we don't want to nominate the conservative, do we. </sarcasm>

Trump is my #1, Cruz is my #2. I'm veeeeery nervous Cruz has enough charisma and the ability to woo enough mushy middle of the road voters needed to overcome the vote stealing and illegals.
Veeeeery nervous.

I'm veeeeery nervous Cruz has enough charisma and the ability to woo enough mushy middle of the road voters needed to overcome the vote stealing and illegals. Every time people say we need to overcome the vote stealing and dirty tricks and attract the moderates. So we wind up with Dole or McCain or Romney. This time I don't care about the mushy middle. This time I want the standard-bearer to be a solid, no-nonsense, no-question conservative. And if we go down then we go down but at least we tried. If we go with yet another moderate like Trump then we'll never know what might have been.

no-nonsense, no-question conservative.Cruz is to the LEFT of Trump on the issues that matter.

Joke post?
Trump is to the left of even Romney. He is every bit as leftist as the other twice divorced New Yorker that run for president, Rudy Giuliani.
