A 15-year-old girl is dead and a 16-year-old boy is in guarded condition after a shooting shortly after 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening (Dec. 22) in Harvey. The victim who died was identified as Shamairie Joseph of Harvey, according to a Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office news release.
Responding officers found Joseph suffering a gunshot wound to the chest in the 1600 block of Apache Drive, according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office. The boy was found suffering a gunshot wound to the abdomen about a block away, in the 1000 block of Inca Drive.
Preliminary indications are that "both victims were standing together near 1621 Apache when multiple rounds were fired at them," according to a JPSO news release.
Investigators focused on a public stairwell of an apartment complex next door to a strip mall near the intersection of Apache and Manhattan Boulevard about an hour and a half after the shooting.

It became a dead mall in 1979, for the usual reasons.

The second line in the article should have tipped everyone off, Louisiana is the only state in the US that has parishes, all the rest have counties. Since I grew up there and have lived there a couple of times since, I knew immediately.
What a shame this had to happen, especially this time of year. New Orleans has always had a crime problem in certain areas, often it seems like a war zone. I didn’t see anything in the article, but I’m guessing gang related. Just a guess though...

The people in charge deliberately obscure that particular stat. I would guess (with no hard facts at hand) that the numbers of blacks murdered by non-Hispanic i.e. non-Mexican whites is a very low number. Probably not more than one or two percent of the total numbers of blacks murdered.
Because every time a white person murders a black, it's headline news for a month. Not so the other way.
As in have you seen anything on the alphabet news about the six year old white kid in Kentucky murdered by a black man who broke into the kid's house and stabbed him to death? That happened a few weeks ago.
If it had been a white man who murdered a black kid like, we'd have wall to wall coverage and Obama lamenting all the "racism" harming black children.

If you only watched the media, you would think 91% of blacks are killed by whites. Blacks are always the victim. That’s the democrat/liberal media narrative.
